BAY CITY, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State senior golfer Kasey Hocquard (Cheboygan, Mich.) has been named to the First Team All-GLIAC team, the league announced today (May 5).

Hocquard has averaged a 71.6 on the year, only 1.5 strokes behind the league’s male athlete of the year, Wayne State’s Steve Cuzzort. At the Great Lakes Regionals, Hocquard led the Cardinals with a 4-over 148 during the two-day event, good enough to tie for sixth place.

And most recently at the NCAA Div. II Men’s Midwest/South Central Regional, Hocquard is tied for 28th place, a plus-5 after two rounds.
