Biography
2012-13: Indoor: reached a season-best 2.03m in the high jump at both the SVSU "Doug Hansen" Open and the SVSU Indoor Classic and finished first at both meets...placed first in the high jump at the SVSU Holiday Classic with a mark of 1.93m.
Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Canton High School under coach Bob Richardson...was a three-sport athlete and earned two varsity letters...senior year was high jump state champion...placed fourth in state high jump during his junior campaign...was a DECA state finalist...majoring in business administration/management...son of Jim and Barbara Thornton...born 8/2/89.
