Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Holy Family Catholic in Victoria, Minnesota under head coach Jim Mickesh…was a member of the All-Minnesota River Conference team from 2008-10…was nominated captain in 2010…was elected by the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association in 2009-10 as the Section Academic Team Champion…earned four varsity letters in golf and three in basketball…majoring in pre-med…son of Mike and Suzanne Smed…born 7/16/93.
