2011: Saw action in seven games for Saginaw Valley as an offensive linemen.

2009: Appeared in one game against Grand Valley (Sept. 12) for the 2009 season. 

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Kingsford High School...was a member of the basketball, track and field, and football teams...was a team captain for three years and helped lead his team to two GNC championships...named All-GNC offensive tackle and received the Barber Trophy...was named First-Team All-Upper Peninsula for class A, B, and C as an offensive tackle...led his team to a district championship...was on the honor roll and earned student of the week honors...was a DAR citizenship finalist...majoring in education...son of Rudolph and Bonnita Winkler...born 8/13/1987.
