2012: Participated in and started all 11 games for the Cardinals...was second on the team in total tackles (102), tackles for loss (8) and forced fumbles (1)...recorded a season-high 15 total tackles in a win at Northwood (Oct. 6)...tallied two sacks, an interception and a pass breakup during his junior campaign...named to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention team and the GLIAC All-Academic team.

2011: Competed in all 11 games for Saginaw Valley, starting in nine...posted a total of 62 tackles with a season high of nine in a win against Michigan Tech. (Oct. 8)...forced one fumble on the season in a 28-20 victory over Northwood (Sept. 24)...selected Honorable Mention All-GLIAC and named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.

2010: Saw action in 11 games, starting five…had a season high nine tackles against California PA (Sept. 4) and totaled 31 on the season…had one sack and recovered one fumble against Ferris State (Sept. 11).

2009: Redshirted in 2009.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Was a member of the football, basketball and baseball teams...named all-district, all-region, all-area and All-State for football...helped his team to two state championships in 2006 and 2008...was the captain of the defense and football team...a member of the honor roll for three years...son of Brian and Karen Johnson...born 11/25/90.
