Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Rockford HS...played two years varsity football at the tackle position, four years on the wrestling team and one year track and field...a member of the 2008 state champion team...a part of the 2006 state runner-up team...awarded two varsity letters in football...part of the 2007 state champion wrestling team...was ranked seventh in the state...voted athlete of the month in February 2008...a member of the honor roll and is an eagle scout...son of Rich and Ellen Somsel...born 06/25/91.
