Saginaw Valley State University junior Buck Snabes was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Second Team All-Midwest Region as a second baseman. Snabes also earned NCBWA Second Team All-Midwest Region and First Team All-GLIAC honors earlier this season.
In 2026, Snabes set the program's single-season stolen base record with 41, finishing just three shy of the GLIAC record. He also helped lead the Cardinals to a program-record 164 stolen bases as a team.
At the plate, Snabes batted .403 (77-for-191) with 10 doubles, two triples, and four home runs. He scored 57 runs and drove in 45 while drawing 21 walks. The Rochester, Michigan native posted a .473 on-base percentage and a .539 slugging percentage for a 1.012 OPS. He also recorded a 24-game hitting streak from March 4 to April 17, highlighting his consistency throughout the season.
"Buck was a game changer on the field in every phase this season," head coach Adam Piotrowicz said. "He's already accumulated quite a few awards up to this point, and there's still probably a couple more coming his way this offseason. He's established himself as one of the best middle infielders in the region and very deserving of this honor."
