Prior to SVSU/Personal: Transferred from Michigan State University...prepped at Adams High School under the tutelage of Tony Patritto...four-year starter at Adams HS and helped the Highlanders to a combined record of 34-9...three-time first-team all-league selection...senior year selected first-team all-state (Division 1-2) by The Associated Press, represented the East in the Michigan High School All-Star Game and nominated to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl...recorded 51 tackles, including six sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered one as a senior...junior year named to The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press Dream Teams and earned first-team all-county honors from The Oakland Press...didn't allow a sack while playing offensive tackle his junior year...earned first-team all-area and second-team all-county honors as a sophomore and qualified for the state wrestling meet in the heavyweight division...majoring in sociology...son of Charlie and Georgianna Sanders...father Charlie made seven Pro Bowl appearances in his 10 seasons with the National Football League's Detroit Lions and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007...born 8/20/91.
