UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) will kick off the 2023 season with a media day held in Grand Rapids on Monday, July 31, at the Sheraton Grand Rapids Airport Hotel. The media will contain interviews with coaches and players from each GLIAC team as well as the release of the 2023 preseason coaches' poll.
The media day will be hosted by ESPN3/ESPN Plus broadcaster Adam Jaksa with a live stream scheduled to begin at 12:50 p.m. on the GLIAC YouTube page. The stream will begin with opening comments from GLIAC Commissioner Kris Dunbar before each team's head coach and players will take the stage for interviews.
Saginaw Valley State University football will be represented by head coach Ryan Brady along with players Jairus Grissom (senior, WR) and Michael Woolridge (senior, DB) at 2:30 p.m.
