UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recently completed the final championships for the 2020-21 academic year and announced the President's Trophy results on Wednesday.
Saginaw Valley State University finished third among the 12 GLIAC institutions with 85.5 points (52 for the women and 33.5 for the men). The President's Trophy for 2020-21 was won by Grand Valley State University for the 22nd straight year with 144.0 points.

The GLIAC Presidents' Trophy standings are based on final regular-season standings except for the following sports that are based on conference tournament finish: cross country, golf, indoor track & field, outdoor track & field, swimming & diving.
The Presidents' Trophy, commonly referred to as the All-Sports Trophy, is awarded at the end of each year of competition to the conference member having demonstrated general excellence in all or most sports. The award is designed to promote well-rounded athletic programs within each member institution.
