UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University is excited to welcome you to its first United As One Weekend October 22-23, 2021.

During our home men's and women's soccer games on Friday, Oct. 22, and our home football game on Saturday, Oct. 23, we invite you to join us in recognizing the efforts of our SVSU Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council during halftime of each game. 

SVSU President Donald Bachand, Cardinal student-athletes, and others will be sharing messages about the positive impacts of SVSU's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Dr. LaCreta Clark will perform Lift Every Voice and Sing in conjunction with the National Anthem prior to the football game. SVSU Multicultural Registered Student Organizations have been invited to participate during the weekend as well. The football and soccer teams will be wearing uniform patches commemorating the "United As One" theme.

Finally, the first 25 fans to each soccer game, and the first 200 fans to the football game, will receive a commemorative SVSU United As One Weekend T-Shirt.
