UNIVERSITY CENTER -- The SVSU Women's and Men's Basketball teams will be in action this week, hitting the road for GLIAC contests at Lake Superior State University and Ferris State University. The Cardinal Track & Field teams will be hosting their final home meet of the 2018 campaign, as the teams welcome Northwood University and Tiffin University for a Triangular meet.  

Thursday, February 1st

Both basketball teams will travel to play at Lake Superior State University. The women will have a tip-off at 5:30 p.m. while the men will follow at 7:30 p.m. Earlier this season on Dec. 7, the women defeated the Lakers by a score of 64-52 while the men fell by a score of 89-60. Saturday, February 3rd

The Track & Field Teams host Northwood and Tiffin in the annual triangular meet involving the GLIAC programs. The meet will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a short ceremony for the team's senior student-athletes prior to competition. All SVSU-hosted meet information can be found here.

The Cardinal Men's Basketball team plays at the No. 4 team in the country in the Ferris State Bulldogs. SVSU has won three of its last four games while the Bulldogs own an overall record of 21-1 and lead the GLIAC. The teams met earlier this season, with Ferris pulling away with an 81-45 victory. Game time in Big Rapids is set for 1:00 p.m.

The SVSU Women follow the men with a tip around 3:00 p.m. The women look for a season sweep over the Bulldogs, having defeated them back on Dec. 9 by a final score of 77-72.
