Maggie Pawelczyk named Cross Country GLIAC Women's Athlete of the Week

BAY CITY, Mich. – SVSU Women's Cross Country freshman Maggie Pawelcyzk has been selected as the GLIAC Women's Athlete of the Week for finishing as the top runner for the Cardinals.

Pawelcyzk ran a 14:48.6 at Oakland Universities "Golden Grizzly Invitational" Saturday afternoon, earning a seventh place finish out of 106 participants.

SVSU is off for this week. Saginaw Valley will compete next at the MSU Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 15) at Michigan State University. The first race is set for 11 a.m.
