Saginaw Valley State University Athletics, backed by a strong 10th place finish in nationals by the men's cross country team, sits in 23rd place in the overall Larfield Division II Director's Cup Standings. These standings include just cross country and field hockey. The 10th place finish for the men's team gave the program 67.50 points to fit in the 23rd spot. 

The Cardinals finished last season 45 overall out of 263 Division II programs. There will be more detailed results after the conclusion of the fall NCAA Division II Championships.
