- The SVSU football hosts the Michigan Tech Huskies on Saturday (9/19) at Wickes Stadium.  The Cardinals are looking for their first victory of the season while the Huskies are 2-0 overall, as well as in the GLIAC.  Saginaw Valley was defeated by Tech at Sherman Field in Houghton last year by a score of 26-20.
