FINDLAY, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State University softball team will travel to play at the 2015 GLIAC Softball Tournament, which is being hosted at the Marathon Diamonds in Findlay, Ohio.

The Cardinals posted a 28-17 overall record for the 2015 regular season, finishing with an 18-6 mark in the GLIAC to earn the #3 seed in the tournament.  SVSU rattled-off victories in 13 of its last 15 regular season contests, including a winning streak of 10 games.  Saginaw Valley will open play on Friday (May 1) against the #6 Hillsdale College Chargers in a noon contest.  The teams split when they met in an earlier doubleheder this season, with the Chargers winning the first game by a 4-3 score before SVSU claimed the second contest, 5-1.
