MIDLAND - Saginaw Valley State University junior women's tennis student-athlete Izabella Ismailova has been named to the 2015 All-GLIAC First Team after voting done by the league's head coaches in conjunction with the annual postseason tournament. 

Ismailova posted a 6-5 overall record for the Cardinals in GLIAC play while competing at the #1 singles position. She teamed up with sophomore Danielle Slonac at #2 doubles this year as well and the two totaled a record of 8-3 in league play. 

It marks the second time Ismailova has been named to the All-GLIAC First Team, as she earned the honor in 2013 as well. Ismailova was named to the All-GLIAC Second Team at the conclusion of play last season.

Teammate and junior women's tennis student-athlete Ana Pico Garcia was named to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention Team after posting a 6-5 GLIAC record while competing at #2 singles and a 4-7 mark with Erin Doud in the tough #1 doubles slot.
