UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University Athletics Department has several events happening on campus over the upcoming weekend for members of the University and surrounding community to attend.

On Saturday, the SVSU Football Spring Game will kick-off at 11:00 am.  The annual matchup between the Red and White squads will feature current Cardinal football student-athletes and give us all a taste of some action on the gridiron this spring.

The SVSU baseball team is set to host a doubleheader against Malone University that will start at noon at the SVSU Baseball Complex.  The doubleheader will consist of two, seven-inning games between the Cardinals and the Pioneers.  The two teams will return to the field on Sunday at noon for the third and final game of their weekend series, which will be a single, nine-inning tilt.

After you check-out the SVSU football and baseball teams, you can join us for our annual Cardinal Cabaret Auction, which is taking place in Curtiss Hall at 5:00 pm.  This is a fundraising event that is meant to enhance the SVSU student-athlete experience.  There will be music, a cash bar and raffles along with silent and live auctions that promise to deliver a night of endless opportunities to celebrate and support the future successes of Cardinal Athletics.  You will have the chance to meet coaches, players and other supporters of Cardinal Athletics.  Doors open at 5:00 pm for the event and dinner is served at 5:45 pm.  You can buy tickets by clicking here or visit the Cardinal Cabaret page here for more information on the event and to view auction items.
