A pair of Saginaw Valley State University senior football players are listed in the D2Football.com Top 100 Division II Player List for 2013.

Jeff Janis, the Cardinals' senior All-American wide receiver, is listed as the third-best player at the NCAA Division II level.

D2Football.com - "You do not find many receivers with sub 4.4 speed in D2, but Janis has that along with good size and movement skills.  He was the GLIAC Offensive Back of the Year in 2012 with 1,635 yards and 17 touchdowns.  He is a two-time All-GLIAC selection."

All good receivers need somebody who can get them the ball, and the 39th ranked player in DII, SVSU senior quarterback Jonathon Jennings, is certainly capable of that. 

D2Football.com - "Jennings showed a good arm and decision making in 2012 when he earned second-team All-GLIAC honors with 3,282 yards and 27 touchdowns.  He had 10 picks and completed 64% of his passes.  Do not underestimate his mobility, as he ran for 291 yards and six touchdowns."
