UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University's Homecoming festivities will be capped-off with a fireworks display on Saturday night (Oct. 12) following the football game against Northwood.
The match-up between SVSU and the visiting Northwood Timberwolves will be the 40th overall game between the two rivals. The winner will lay claim to the coveted Axe Bowl Trophy, which currently resides with the Cardinals.
Kickoff for the football game is set for 7 pm. The fireworks show, being put-on by Wolverine Fireworks, will last approximately 8-10 minutes and will take place immediately after the game.
