ORLANDO, Fla. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's tennis team suffered another loss to the University of Indianapolis by a score of 6-3 on March 12.

The Cardinals got single match victories in the 1 and 3 positions. At 1 position Katie Hanover (St. Johns, Mich. /St. Johns HS) defeated Megan Farley in two sets,6-4, 7-6, while her teammate Danielle Coldren (West Bloomfield, Mich. /Pontiac Notre Dame Prep HS) also defeated her opponent Alena Perez-Jajuz in two sets, 6-1, 6-3.

Hanover and Coldren defeated Maggie Ashby and Alena Perez-Jajuz 8-5 and were the only two Cardinals to defeat their opponents in double matches.

SVSU is now 4-11 on the season and 2-2 on the road trip in Orlando. The Caridnals will return later today to face St. Cloud State as they are finishing up their spring games in Orlando.
