BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - SVSU returned to the court for the 2008 tennis season against the Bulldogs of Ferris State on Saturday (Sept. 6), falling 6-3.

The Cardinals picked up a double victory at 2 double with the team of Debra Hammond and Sarah Campian winning 8-5. SVSU's other two victories would come at 1 singles where Katie Hanover won her match 7-5. 4-6, 10-7 and at 5 singles where Cortney Heileman won her match in straight sets 6-3 and 6-4.

With the loss the Cardinals fall to 0-1 on the season and the Bulldogs move to 1-0. SVSU will return to the court on September 12 when they host Michigan Tech at the SVSU Tennis Complex.
