UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Cardinal tennis team lost Tuesday (Sept. 16) afternoon 9-0 in GLIAC competition to the Northwood Timberwolves.

Sophomore Courtney Heileman (East China, Mich./St. Clair HS) pushed her match to three sets against Roberta Huetter in the Cardinals lone match that wasn't a straight-set victory for the visiting Timberwolves.

Northwood dominated the action in the other matches, taking all three doubles match-ups. With the loss, the Cardinals drop to 1-3 overall, and 1-3 in the GLIAC.
