UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University sophomore Sarah Campian (Troy, Mich./Troy HS) is this week's GLIAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week the league announced today (Oct. 9).

Campian went 2-0 at No. 5 singles, with victories over Ashland University's Corinne Pasley (6-3, 7-5, 12-10) and Tiffin University's Beth Clark (6-0, 6-0). In No. 2 doubles matches on the weekend, Campian teamed-up with Debra Hammond to go 1-1, highlighted by their victory over Pasley and Paolo Orozco of Ashland, 8-4. Campian is now 5-1 (.833) in singles matches on the season, which leads the team.
