UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) released the recipients of the 2025-26 All-Academic and All-Excellence awards on Thursday (June 11) morning. Over 2,000 total awards were granted by the league office. Saginaw Valley State University Athletics had 256 awards granted to 226 student-athletes.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season and not be a freshman or a first-year transfer student.
GLIAC All-Academic teams comprise student-athletes who meet the eligibility requirements and have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. GLIAC Academic Excellence teams are comprised of student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0.
