Charlotte Wong (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island/Colonel Gray Senior High), a sophomore on the SVSU Tennis team, went 6-0 on the weekend as she won both of her No. 3 singles matches and No. 2 doubles matches. Charlotte got out to a fast start, winning her No. 3 singles match 6-0 and 6-0. Wong also teamed up with teammate Theresa Frederick (Saginaw, Mich./Bay City Western HS) to win her No 3 doubles match against Hillsdale. On Saturday (10/15), Charlotte won her No. 3 singles match over Tiffin by a score of 6-2 and 6-3, while teaming up with Annessa Campian (Troy, Mich./Troy HS) to win their No. 2 doubles match. With the victories, the Cardinal Tennis squad clinched the No. 8 seed in the upcoming 2011 GLIAC Women's Tennis Tournament, which starts on Friday (10/21).
