Jonathon Jennings (Columbus, Ohio/Westerville South HS), a sophomore on the SVSU Football team, threw for 310 yards and 3 touchdowns on 19-of-24 passing in the season-opening victory over Ferris State. Jennings connected with Ronnie Lark for an 18-yard score as well as Jeff Janis on a 56-yard strike to paydirt. Jonathon hooked up with Mark Thrash for the game-winning touchdown with less than five minutes to play.
