Carson Beauchaine (Fraser, Mich./Fraser HS), a junior starting pitcher on the SVSU Baseball team, threw a complete game, three-hitter in the Cardinals' GLIAC season opening win over Hillsdale.

Beauchaine threw all seven innings and struck out four batters, while allowing just one walk and three hits. Carson faced just 26 batters.

Beauchaine, despite having a 1-2 record so far this season, holds a 1.89 earned run average in 19 innings of work. Opposing hitters have just a .167 average against Carson.
